Publication Ethics

Our Publication Ethics Policy outlines the principles and responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, and editorial staff.

Authorship and Contribution

All authors listed on an article must have made a substantial contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. Each author is accountable for all aspects of the work and must ensure that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their work is original and not plagiarized. Any work or words of others must be appropriately cited or quoted. The journal employs plagiarism detection software to screen submitted articles, and any instances of plagiarism will be investigated thoroughly.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence their work. This includes funding sources, affiliations, and any other factors that may be perceived to influence the research.

Ethical Compliance

All research involving human participants or animals must comply with ethical standards. Authors must ensure that they have obtained appropriate ethical approval and informed consent, and they should provide details of this approval in their submission.

Data Sharing and Transparency

Authors are encouraged to share data and materials to support transparency and reproducibility in research. Where applicable, authors should include a data availability statement in their article, indicating whether data is available, and if not, the reasons for this.

Peer Review Process

Our journal follows a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback and must declare any conflicts of interest. All articles will be treated confidentially throughout the review process.

Editorial Independence

The editorial board has full authority over the journal's editorial content and decisions. The editorial staff is committed to making decisions based solely on the merits of the research without any influence from external parties.

Retraction and Correction

In the case of errors or ethical breaches, the journal reserves the right to retract articles or publish corrections. Retractions will be clearly marked in the journal to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Compliance with Guidelines

The International Journal of Business Review and Research adheres to the ethical guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and encourages all participants in the publication process to be familiar with and uphold these standards.

Responsibility and Accountability

All parties involved in the publication process are responsible for upholding these ethical standards. Failure to adhere to these principles may result in retraction of the work and/or future submissions being declined.

By submitting an article to the International Journal of Business Review and Research, authors acknowledge and agree to abide by this Publication Ethics Policy, which is designed to promote integrity and accountability in scholarly publishing.
